Job summary

CHS Corporate is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide patient-centered care in a part-time role during night shifts. The PCT will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, collect samples, and support mobility, under the supervision of RN/LPN.

The position emphasizes maintaining a safe, clean care environment, complying with infection control and safety protocols, and communicating clearly with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of acute care experience or currently enrolled in a nursing program preferred.
• CNA certification is preferred; CPCT certification is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated patient care and maintain a safe, organized care environment.
• Record and report vital signs and other patient data to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Support patient mobility and positioning using appropriate aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform finger-stick glucose monitoring.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and maintain confidentiality.
