CHS Career Site is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a safe, organized care environment.

The role involves communicating effectively with the care team, following infection control guidelines, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. Night shift, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in an acute care setting or current nursing program preferred.
• Basic life support (BCLS) within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Collect and record vital signs and patient data, reporting findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, including meals, bathing, and grooming.
• Support catheter care, specimen collection, and glucose monitoring as directed.
• Communicate patient information to the care team and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain professionalism, participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
