Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician to assist with activities of daily living and support the healthcare team during night shifts. You will perform essential tasks under RN/LPN supervision and help maintain high standards of patient care.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, completion of a PCT/CNA program (or equivalent), and BLS certification. Phlebotomy training is required for ED positions. Competitive hourly pay with benefits offered.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have completed a PCT course, CNA program, RN fundamentals course, or have 1 year direct patient care.
• BLS certification required; phlebotomy training may be required for ED positions.

Aufgaben

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient status.
• Support mobility, bathing, feeding, toileting and safe patient transport.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified; communicate findings to RN/LPN.
• Uphold patient safety standards and participate in education of patients and families.
