Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician/Assistive role for night shift in Marlton, NJ. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, communicate with the healthcare team, and support care plans under RN/LPN supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of a PCT/CNA/RN fundamentals course (or equivalent), BLS certification, and may involve phlebotomy/EKG duties in ED settings. On-site benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Basic patient care skills and safe care practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Completed PCT/CNA/RN fundamentals course or equivalent patient care experience.
• BLS certification.
• Phlebotomy training required for the Emergency Department positions.

Responsabilités

• Assists with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, mobility and transport.
• Performs vitals, point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, and foley care; may perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Reinforces patient and family education on care needs and safety issues.
• Supports Virtua patient satisfaction initiatives and goals.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Assists in orientation of new hires.
