Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ, seeks a part-time Patient Care Technician to assist with activities of daily living under the supervision of the nursing team. You will monitor vital signs, help with mobility, and support a safe patient environment in a night-shift setting.

The role requires a PCT or CNA credential, BLS certification, and strong communication. phlebotomy/EKG skills are a plus. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed a PCT course, fundamentals nursing course in an RN program, Certified Nursing Assistant program, or ~1 year direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN direction.
• Take vital signs and perform point-of-care testing.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN.
• Support patient education and safety and participate in satisfaction initiatives.
• Assist in orientation of new hires.
