Job summary

Virtua is seeking a Part-time Per Diem Nursing Assistant for Lourdes Health System, on-site night shift. Under RN/LPN direction, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and support the healthcare team while maintaining high professional standards. Phlebotomy/EKG duties may apply where certified.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a PCT/CNA background (or equivalent), BLS, and ongoing education. Benefits are provided with eligible positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PCT course, RN fundamentals, CNA, or 1 year direct patient care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy training/education required for ED positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Support mobility, transfers, transport, and safety precautions.
• Take vital signs and perform point-of-care testing as directed by RN/LPN.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified and communicate changes to the care team.
• Reinforce patient and family education and participate in satisfaction initiatives.
