Job summary

Virtua Medical Group seeks a Part-Time Night Patient Care Technician for Med Surg 3NS in Marlton. Under RN/LPN supervision, the PCT assists with daily living activities, communicates with the healthcare team, and upholds professional ethics.

Responsibilities include basic patient care, vital signs, bladder scanning, Foley care, and potential phlebotomy/EKG duties if certified. The role supports patient education and participates in satisfaction and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have completed a PCT course, RN fundamentals nursing course, CNA program, or 1 year of direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting, hygiene, mobility and transport.
• Take vital signs, perform point of care testing, bladder scanning and Foley catheter care as directed by RN/LPN.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Notice changes in patient status and communicate to RN/LPN; respond appropriately.
