Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support daily living activities for patients at our Marlton, NJ location. This on-site role operates on a Night Shift - 12 Hr schedule and involves collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate care close to home.

The position requires basic patient care skills, strong communication, and a High School Diploma or GED, plus possible PCT/CNA training and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PCT course or CNA program or one year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification is required/strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and plan of care.
• Perform vital signs, bladder scanning, and Foley care per RN/LPN guidance.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Report changes in patient status to RN/LPN promptly.
• Support patient education and participate in satisfaction initiatives.
• Assist in orientation of new hires.
