Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is hiring a Patient Access Associate to verify and prepare patient accounts for inpatient and outpatient billing, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance data.

You will work nights, handle insurance verification, payment arrangements, and assist patients with funding options while delivering exceptional customer service to maximize hospital revenue and patient satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or high school diploma with 2 years of customer service experience.
• Patient Access Certification preferred.
• 1 year relevant experience in a medical office or hospital preferred.

Aufgaben

• Enter and update demographic and insurance information for all patients.
• Verify insurance coverage and determine benefits or prior authorizations.
• Collect payments and post them accurately; reconcile receipts.
• Assist patients with payment arrangements and financial assistance.
• Explain and secure signatures, scans and notices where required.
• Provide high-level customer service throughout patient encounters.
