Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HIPAA and other regulations in Admissions and Medical Records handling.
• Provide courteous customer service and build positive relationships with patients and staff.
• Answer phone calls professionally and relay messages to appropriate staff.
• Obtain signatures on required forms and consents.
• Enter accurate demographic data to facilitate revenue-cycle processing.
• Verify insurance benefits and confirm payor and plan details in the system.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain insurance authorizations when needed.
• Assist with billing collections at the point of service.
