Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor at our Sealy, TX location. This role leads hourly staff, directs daily tasks, and ensures customer requirements are met while aligning with Penske goals.

The shift is Mon-Fri, 10:00 pm – 8:00 am, with flexibility for peak seasons and holidays. The supervisor will manage performance, participate in hiring and meetings, and oversee safety, finance, and process improvements to optimize productivity and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise hourly staff and manage performance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and change.
• Proficient MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching to associates.
• Evaluate methods to increase dispatch productivity and train new staff.
• Provide relief coverage and ensure site operating systems are used correctly.
• Complete records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
