Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of hourly staff and drivers at a Lithia Springs, GA location. You will oversee daily tasks—loading/unloading, dispatch, and customer service—to meet service and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include coaching, performance management, and involvement in hiring and meetings with customers. The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and safety focus, with hours Monday–Friday 3:30 pm–1:30 am and flexibility during peak

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently with good time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems and make independent decisions.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Must demonstrate ownership and urgency in running the operation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce to ensure execution of daily tasks.
• Supervise drivers, loading/unloading of trailers, and customer service operations.
• Manage performance, coaching, and disciplinary actions up to written warnings.
• Assist in hiring process and attend necessary customer meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement and handle change management.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and accurate documentation across shifts.
• Plan workforce and equipment scheduling; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Maintain records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
