Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff at a Fort Worth location, ensuring customer requirements are met while upholding cost objectives.

You will supervise drivers, loading/unloading, and customer service operations, manage performance, and participate in hiring decisions. Shift is Monday–Friday 8:30 PM–6:00 AM with peak-season flexibility and bonus eligibility based on performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required.
• Ability to manage through a problem, think critically, and make decisions independently.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Must demonstrate ownership & responsibility to run the operation with a sense of urgency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel, work the required schedule, and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise supervisors and hourly staff to meet customer objectives.
• Manage attendance, productivity, and provide coaching.
• Lead dispatch, customer service, and documentation control.
• Conduct team meetings and evaluate methods to increase productivity.
• Monitor overtime and align hours with targets to maximize efficiency.
• Plan fleet usage and maintenance with Penske partners and vendors.
