Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Operations Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager in managing a location's operations and staff.

You will supervise technicians, coordinators and service employees on a shift, ensuring labor targets, safety, quality and asset targets are met while maintaining customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, workflow planning, and the ability to coordinate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor's preferred depending on experience.
• Experience in maintenance operations environment is advantageous.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow: plan/schedule work, assign to technicians, track productivity, lead shift/shop meetings, approve RO.
• Oversee labor management: train and develop personnel, performance management.
• Maintain customer relationships: resolve issues, ensure uptime, communicate PMs and status.
