RWJBarnabas Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. Night shift, 36 hours per week, performing across trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology units.

RN responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, coordinating care, and applying evidence-based practice within the Nurse Practice Act. Applicants should have an ASN or Nursing Diploma, 2+ years in oncology, NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and ideally a BSN within 5 years.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• 2+ years oncology experience preferred.
• Active NJ RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• BSN preferred within 5 years of hire.
• ONS oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and nursing standards.
• Maintain safety and apply evidence-based practices in patient care.
• Supervise and direct delegation to team members and collaborate with care providers.
• Prioritize interventions with measurable outcomes and deliver individualized care.

Education
