Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Glendale, AZ, is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Controls Engineer for on-site work on high-speed beverage lines, programming Allen-Bradley PLCs and troubleshooting live production equipment. Night shift operates on a 2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.
Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000, with a 20% target bonus and relocation assistance available. You will serve as the on-shift controls expert, mentoring maintenance technicians and operators while
Qualifications
- Hands-on PLC programming beyond troubleshooting; write/modify ladder logic.
- 4+ years in industrial automation on high-speed lines (beverage/CPG).
- Strong PLC/HMI/VFD/industrial-network troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as on-shift controls expert providing Tier 1-2 troubleshooting.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues to restore production.
- Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
