Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support a high-speed beverage plant in the Glendale, AZ area. On-shift expertise ensures rapid PLC/HMI troubleshooting, programming, and project execution to boost safety, quality, and throughput.

You will mentor technicians, document changes, and participate in system upgrades, with a 12-hour night rotation (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). Relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PLC programming experience on high-speed production lines.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting, ladder logic modification and updates.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Knowledge of HMI, drives, motion control, and industrial networks.

Responsabilités

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 on-shift control and automation support.
• Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs to improve reliability and throughput.
• Lead controls projects, document changes, and manage drawings.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators on automation systems.
• Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and system integrations.
