Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for an on-site Glendale, AZ facility. You will work the 2-2-3 night rotation (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) on high-speed beverage production lines, writing and troubleshooting PLC logic, and mentoring technicians.
This is a salaried engineering role, not entry-level. You will lead automation improvements, ensure safety and reliability, and coordinate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams while advancing manufacturing
Qualifications
- Hands-on PLC programming experience on high-speed production lines.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical docs.
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication.
Responsabilités
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 controls support for packaging lines.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues to restore uptime.
- Modify ladder logic and HMI screens; backup programs and drawings.
- Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
- Mentor maintenance staff on automation best practices.
- Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and system integration.
