G&W Electric Co. seeks a Manufacturing Associate I for the 6:00pm to 6:00am C shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will perform repetitive sub-assembly and assembly tasks with basic complexity, following instructions from blueprints and assembly docs.

You will prepare materials, read drawings, use hand and power tools, and help train new hires as needed. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and following instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions and parts lists.
• Position parts and subassemblies and read measurements.
• Assemble components and verify correct fit and fastenings.
• Assist with prototypes and other basic projects as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document production steps.
