Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is hiring a Manufacturing Associate I to perform sub-assembly and assembly operations of basic complexity in our Bolingbrook facility. The role emphasizes studying instructions, reading blueprints, and assembling components with proper tools and safety practices.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, 0–1 years of manufacturing experience, and basic computer skills. English reading and following verbal instructions are required; cross-training for Manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Basic computer skills and English instruction comprehension.
• Willingness to cross-train for higher roles.

Responsibilities

• Study instructions and parts lists to prepare for assembly tasks.
• Position parts using templates or measurements and assemble components.
• Inspect work for correct fit and pass quality checks.
• Document production and quality information as required.
• Assist in training new hires or transfers.
