Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 3 for the Monroe, WI facility on a 3rd shift schedule (approx. 11:00pm–7:00am). The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining forms and labels machinery to meet demanding production schedules.

The candidate will diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, read schematics, and support PM programs. A strong safety focus and experience in high-speed manufacturing are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Diagnose and repair three-phase electrical systems (up to 480V).
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals for industrial equipment.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient operation of production machinery (presses, coaters, unwinders, etc.).
• Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance programs with the team.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all production machinery and site equipment.
• Execute emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Provide electrical/electronic support including PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Enter work orders, labor hours, and parts usage into CMMS.
