Job summary

RR Donnelley is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic III for Monroe, WI on the 3rd shift (approx. 11:00pm–7:00am). The role maintains, services, and repairs sophisticated form and label machinery, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The position offers a starting wage of $31/hour with shift differential, and a robust benefits package. Key duties include PM program development, PM execution, and rapid response to breakdowns on presses, die-cutters, coaters, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in printing/packaging environments.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair three-phase electrical systems up to 480V.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on forms and labels machinery (presses, die-cutters, coaters, rewinders, etc.).
• Collaborate to create and implement a Preventative Maintenance program.
• Perform PMs and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read manuals and schematics; perform overhauls as needed.
• Provide basic welding, fabrication, and precision alignment of components.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and process controls.
• Log work orders, labor hours, and parts usage in CMMS.
• Adhere to safety regulations including LOTO and maintain clean work areas.
• Support operators to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Other duties as assigned.
