Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 3 for Monroe, WI on the 3rd shift (approx. 11:00 pm to 7:00 am). The role starts at $31.00 per hour including a premium shift differential of $3 per hour.

Responsibilities include maintaining forms and labels machinery, performing PMs, and conducting emergency repairs. You will interpret manuals, troubleshoot PLCs/VFDs, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Diagnose and repair three-phase electrical systems up to 480V and mechanical drives.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for industrial equipment.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain forms and labels machinery (presses, die-cutters, coaters, etc.).
• Develop and implement Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs with the team.
• Perform scheduled PM and unscheduled repairs on production equipment.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Read schematics and electrical blueprints for precise maintenance tasks.
• Provide mechanical, welding, fabrication, and alignment support as needed.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and process control instrumentation.
• Record work orders and parts usage in CMMS.
