Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 3 to join our Monroe, WI facility on 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am). You’ll perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on forms and labels machinery to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to read schematics. A safety focus and ability to lift 50 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years hands-on maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing three-phase electrical systems (up to 480V).
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for industrial equipment.
• Strong safety focus with OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of production machinery including presses, coaters, and sheeters.
• Collaborate to implement a Preventative Maintenance program.
• Perform scheduled PM on all production machinery and site equipment.
• Execute emergency and unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose problems in web handling, tension control, and servo drives.
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints for maintenance work.
• Provide mechanical support including basic welding and precision alignment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, and process control instrumentation.
• Enter work orders and parts usage into CMMS and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to safety regulations and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to improve machine reliability.
• Other duties as assigned.
