Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift position in Irving, TX. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and infants through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages.

Requirements include ADN/BSN, Texas RN license, 1.5+ years L&D experience, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within 30 days of hire. Competitive pay, sign-on bonus, and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license in Texas or a Compact State.
• Minimum 1.5 years L&D or Antepartum RN experience.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor, interpret, and document fetal heart patterns and maternal vital signs, initiating interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and neonatologists to ensure optimal maternal–fetal outcomes.
• Educate patients and family on labor, delivery options, and early postnatal/newborn care.
• Maintain meticulous EHR documentation and promote a safety-focused unit culture.
