Job summary

Healthforce seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift in Irving, TX. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and infants during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages.

Requirements include ADN/BSN, TX or Compact RN license, 1.5+ years L&D/Antepartum experience, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within 30 days of hire. Competitive benefits, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license (Texas or Compact State).
• 1.5+ years of L&D or Antepartum RN experience (Level II+ facility preferred).
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals, initiating interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery options, and newborn care.
• Maintain meticulous EHR documentation and promote a culture of safety.
