Job summary

Healthforce in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift position. You will care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.

The role requires ADN or BSN, active RN license (TX or compact), 1.5+ years L&D experience, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within 30 days. Competitive pay, sign-on up to $7,500, relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license (TX or Compact State).
• Minimum 1.5 years of L&D or Antepartum RN experience.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor, interpret, and document fetal heart patterns and maternal vital signs, initiating appropriate interventions immediately as needed.
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal maternal-fetal outcomes.
• Educate patients and family members on the labor process, delivery options, and early postnatal/newborn care.
• Support and advocate for a unit-wide culture of safety, maintaining meticulous and compliant EHR documentation.
