Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a permanent night shift in Irving, TX. You will provide high-quality obstetric care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.

Requirements include ADN or BSN, active RN license (TX or Compact State), 1.5+ years in L&D, and BLS/ACLS/NRP with AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within 30 days. Enjoy a competitive hourly rate, up to $7,500 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• Active RN license (Texas or Compact State).
• Minimum 1.5 years of L&D or Antepartum RN experience (Level II or higher facility preferred).
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required; AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor, interpret, and document fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals; initiate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and family on labor, delivery options, and postnatal/newborn care.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant EHR documentation and patient safety culture.
