Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift position. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and infants through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages.

The role requires ADN or BSN, active RN license in Texas or compact state, and 1.5+ years of L&D/Antepartum experience with ACLS/NRP, BLS; AWHONN fetal monitoring training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Active, unencumbered RN license (Texas or Compact State).
• Minimum 1.5 years of L&D or Antepartum RN experience; Level II+ facility preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals; initiate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery options, and newborn care.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant EHR documentation; support a culture of safety.
