Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift in Irving, TX. You will provide patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum in a high-stakes environment.

The ideal candidate has ADN or BSN, active RN license in Texas or a compact state, and at least 1.5 years of L&D or Antepartum experience, plus AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification within 30 days of hire. Relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in Texas or a Compact State.
• Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in Labor & Delivery or Antepartum at Level II+ facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals; initiate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and care teams for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery options, and early postpartum care.
• Maintain meticulous EHR documentation and promote a safety-focused unit culture.
