Healthforce is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift in Irving, TX. You will care for mothers and infants through high-stakes labor, delivery and immediate postpartum stages.

Responsibilities include monitoring fetal and maternal status, collaborating with obstetric teams, educating families, and maintaining precise EHR documentation. Requires ADN/BSN and Texas RN licensure with 1.5+ years L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license (Texas or Compact State).
• Minimum 1.5 years L&D or Antepartum RN experience.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Provide care during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals; intervene as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and neonatal teams to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and family on labor, delivery options and postnatal/newborn care.
• Maintain compliant EHR documentation and patient safety culture.
