Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and infants through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages, within a high-acuity obstetric unit.

The role requires ADN/BSN, active RN license (TX or Compact), 1.5+ years in L&D or antepartum, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in TX or Compact State
• Minimum 1.5 years of L&D or Antepartum experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals; initiate interventions as needed
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists and care teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients/families on labor, delivery options, and early postnatal care
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and promote a safety-focused unit culture
