Job summary

Healthforce seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift in Irving, TX. You will care for mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, and early postpartum stages.

The role requires 1.5+ years in L&D/Antepartum (Level II+), ADN/BSN, Texas or Compact RN licensure, and BLS with ACLS/NRP. AWHONN fetal monitoring training is required within 30 days of hire. Benefits include comprehensive insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in Texas or Compact State.
• Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in L&D or Antepartum (Level II+ facility preferred).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required.
• Specialized Training: AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals; initiate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery options and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and promote safety culture.
