Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift in Irving, TX. You will care for mothers and infants through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages, ensuring safety and high-quality patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold ADN or BSN, are licensed RN in Texas or a Compact State, and have 1.5+ years in L&D. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP are required, with AWHONN fetal monitoring training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license (Texas or Compact State).
• Minimum 1.5 years L&D or Antepartum RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals with prompt actions.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and neonatologists for outcomes.
• Educate patients and family on labor, delivery options, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and a culture of safety.
