Job summary

Healthforce in Irving, TX, is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a permanent night shift. You will care for mothers and infants through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages, ensuring patient-centered care and safety.

The role requires ADN or BSN, Texas or Compact RN license, 1.5+ years L&D experience, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within 30 days of hire. Relocation assistance may be available and a sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Active, unencumbered RN license (Texas or Compact State).
• Minimum 1.5 years L&D or Antepartum RN experience.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals, and initiate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and care teams to optimize maternal-fetal outcomes.
• Educate patients and family on labor, delivery options, and newborn care.
• Maintain meticulous EHR documentation and promote a culture of safety.
