Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum to join a per diem team working night shifts at Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals. You will independently provide safe, compassionate nursing care, using the nursing process to plan and evaluate care while guiding support staff.

Qualified candidates will have IL nursing licensure, 2+ years in acute labor and delivery/postpartum, and NLN-accredited nursing education; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Current Illinois nursing license required.
Graduate of NLN accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
Minimum two years acute care experience in labor and delivery and postpartum.
ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, compassionate nursing care for labor and delivery and postpartum patients.
Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Direct unlicensed staff to deliver interdisciplinary patient care.
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
