Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum care. You will work night shifts at Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals, with per diem levels defined per schedule and travel between facilities as needed.

Requirements include IL RN license, NLN-accredited program, BSN preferred, and 2+ years in acute care L&D/postpartum or ISCU. BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certification is required for the provider role.

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license in good standing.
• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate; BSN preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP required.
• Minimum two years acute care experience in labor and delivery/postpartum or ISCU.
• Labor and delivery and postpartum experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for labor, delivery and postpartum patients.
• Apply the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
• Support safety initiatives and promote high-quality patient experience.
