Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum to support Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals on the night shift. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, apply the nursing process in planning and evaluating care, and guide unlicensed personnel while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and a high-quality patient experience.
License: IL RN with NLN-accredited schooling; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP required.
Qualifications
- Current IL nursing license required.
- NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- BLS/ ACLS/PALS / NRP certification required.
- Minimum two years of acute care in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum or ISCU experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective nursing care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients.
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
- Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
- Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.
