Job summary
Endeavor Health, a fully integrated healthcare delivery system, seeks a Night Shift Registered Nurse for Neonatal and obstetric care at Evanston/Highland Park hospitals. Per Diem roles support Labor & Delivery, Nursery and ISCU with rotation across facilities.
Candidates must hold IL RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. Two years of acute care experience in neonatal, pediatric, and labor/delivery settings are required.
Qualifications
- Current IL RN licensure required.
- NLN-accredited nursing program graduate; BSN preferred.
- BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certification required.
- Minimum two years acute care experience in Nursery, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery and/or ISCU.
- ISCU experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for labor, delivery and postpartum patients.
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
- Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
