Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum care, located at Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals, with night shifts and per diem scheduling.

You will independently provide safe, effective nursing care, use the nursing process to plan and evaluate care, and guide unlicensed staff while collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes and a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license required.
• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certification required.
• Minimum two years of acute care experience in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum or ISCU.
• Labor and Delivery and postpartum/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the patient care plan.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
• Promote safety and high-quality patient experience.
