Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum to join the ISCU Resource Team, with night shift assignments at Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals.

Must hold an IL RN license, NLN-accredited nursing program graduate (BSN strongly preferred), and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certification, plus a minimum of two years of acute care experience in L&D/postpartum or ISCU.

• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for labor, delivery and postpartum patients.
• Utilize nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed personnel in patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
• Promote safety and high-quality patient experience.
