Job summary

Endeavor Health in Illinois seeks a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum, joining the ISCU and resource team for night shifts at Evanston and Highland Park hospitals.

You will independently provide safe nursing care, plan and evaluate care using the nursing process, and supervise assigned personnel while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for labor and delivery and postpartum patients.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.
