Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations and ensure top-notch food quality and service for guests in East Meadow. You will lead a restaurant team across opening, prep, and closing shifts.

Collaborate with the chef leadership and other departments to maintain stock, process orders and deliveries, and enforce safety, sanitation, and cost controls while delivering consistent guest experiences. This role requires strong communication and a professional leadership style.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including the opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Work with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive high-quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene across back-of-house areas and in line with schedules.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and in working order.
• Conduct briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met.
• Lead with professional and ethical leadership style.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
