Qualifications

• Minimum six months of phone experience in a hospital or call center.
• Clear verbal and written communication required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
• HIPAA compliance and accurate patient identification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist callers.
• Direct calls to the appropriate department and provide information.
• Use the PBX system (Interactive Intelligence) and security radio accurately.
• Identify callers and locations; provide HIPAA-compliant information.
• Assist with emergency paging and coordinate with Security as needed.
