This part-time role requires a high school diploma, 0–2 years in a medical or customer service setting, BLS or ability to obtain within 90 days, and AVADE training within 30 days. Salary ranges from $38,000 to $63,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years in a medical setting or heavy customer service with data entry and insurance experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain AVADE training offered by MLK Community Hospital within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Obtain complete demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain required signatures on legal consents and insurance forms.
• Enter data, document incomplete admissions/registrations, and obtain necessary authorization numbers.
• Notify patients of insurance issues, co-pays, deductibles, or deposits; update records.
