Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years in a medical setting or heavy customer service environment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to obtain AVADE training within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain required signatures on consents and insurance forms.
• Enter data and document incomplete admissions/registrations in the system.
• Notify patients and families of insurance coverage issues and co-pays.
• Review orders for completeness and ensure all information is listed.
