GBMC HealthCare is seeking a night shift Hospice Aide to support patient comfort and daily living activities under RN supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate end-of-life care and collaborating with the Hospice team at Gilchrist centers.

Ideal candidates have a Maryland CNA certification or are in an accredited nursing program with hospice experience. High school diploma required; knowledge of hospice philosophy is a plus.

Formación

• Current Maryland CNA certification required or active enrollment in nursing program with hospice exposure.
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care preferred.
• Ability to work independently under supervision and manage patient comfort needs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for hospice patients.
• Assist with baths, hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility as directed by RN.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to supervising nurse promptly.
• Maintain safe use of equipment and ensure patient room is clean and orderly.
• Document care provided and patient observations electronically as required.
