GBMC is seeking compassionate Hospice Aides to join our overnight team across the Towson, Baltimore, and Howard centers. You will provide essential personal care and comfort to patients under RN supervision, with a focus on compassionate end-of-life care.

Minimum one year of healthcare experience preferred; nursing program enrollment in lieu of experience is accepted. Maryland CNA certification preferred; pay includes night shift differential and on-site parking.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred; nursing program enrollment accepted in lieu of experience.
• Hospice experience preferred; experience with dying patients is beneficial.
• Maryland CN A certification from the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care including baths, dressing, feeding and basic comfort measures.
• Assist with bedpans/urinals and daily living activities as assigned.
• Monitor and report changes to supervising nurse promptly.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility and simple therapies as directed.
• Maintain clean, safe patient rooms and proper infection control.
• Record and document care provided and patient observations.
• Support family/caregivers and provide respite as needed.
