Job summary

Gilchrist Hospice Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate Hospice Aides for night shifts in Towson and surrounding centers. The role supports patients with personal care under RN guidance, including baths, feeding and comfort measures. A Maryland CNA certification and patient empathy are essential.

One year of experience is preferred, with nursing program enrollment accepted in lieu of experience. Night shift differential and on-site parking are available as part of our supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of prior hospice or healthcare experience preferred.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program acceptable in lieu of experience.
• Experience with dying patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients under supervision.
• Assist with baths, grooming, feeding, and basic daily activities.
• Document care and vital signs per policy.
• Support safe medication handling and bed/room care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and end-of-life comfort.
