Job summary

GBMC HealthCare and Gilchrist Hospice partners seek a Hospice Aide to deliver essential patient care under RN supervision. The role requires compassion, strong communication, and adherence to the Hospice Plan of Care.

Education includes a HS diploma or GED and Maryland CNA registration; a valid driver’s license is required. You’ll work in Towson-based settings delivering high-quality end-of-life care with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Maryland CNA registration is required.
• Valid drivers license and insured vehicle per org. policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks per Plan of Care and patient/family requests.
• Assist with baths, grooming, feeding, toilet needs, and mobility.
• Monitor safety, equipment use, and skin condition; report changes to nurse.
• Support with activities of daily living and basic therapeutic exercises as directed.
• Maintain clean patient environment and assist with light laundry.
